Lost on a Bike
Scott Dunham and Chris Seistrup, AKA: Team Lost on a Bike, will be riding a loop around the Grand Illinois Trail starting September 19th, 2019.
We are raising money for the Hemophilia Federation of America's annual Gears for Good bicycle ride and the Helping Hands Program.
Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder characterized by a reduced ability to form clots to stop bleeding. For severe cases, it may require treatment daily with blood products. For a mild case, if they’re lucky, only during a severe trauma.
Helping Hands provides assistance with urgent basic living expenses, the reimbursement of durable medical items, and medical/educational travel and educational support for families affected by inhibitors.
We can't wait to set off on this 530 mile double crossing of Illinois while helping out a great cause.
We will be riding this route 100% self supported. We are carrying all our own camping gear and must find our own resupply along the way. We have ambitious goals for completion time and will be pushing our limits the whole way.
Thanks for all of your support!
